A visionary animation powerhouse, Tucker Entertainment crafts enchanting stories brought to life through innovative animation, fostering creativity and leaving a legacy of joy and inspiration.

Our Story

In 1973, our founders, Harold Ernest and Douglas Tucker, met while on a cruise in the Caribbean. When their wives simultaneously yelled, “Bingo!”, fate stepped in. After meeting for dinner that night, and learning of each other’s profession, Mr. Tucker, a celebrated writer, and Mr. Ernest, a cartoonist, they came up with a fantastic idea– create their own production company!

Combining Harold’s talent as a cartoonist and Douglas’s writing skills, they began producing animated content with a small team of passionate individuals. Their first series, “The Adventures of Danny and Jimmy,” became a hit! They later expanded into feature films beginning with the very popular and successful “Harold and Squeaky’s” animated series and book collections!

Throughout the years, Tucker Entertainment continued to grow, diversify, and set industry standards in animation. Their legacy as pioneers in the animation industry was not only due to their creative genius but also their commitment to a lasting friendship and inspiring the next generation of artists and storytellers.
